Aampe is hiring a product designer

Years experience: 5

Location: remote

We are a fully-remote startup that’s distributed across the world.

Our mission is to help mobile apps bring value to their users faster than ever.

We are building an end-to-end product that lets customers quickly integrate their data, get insights on their app usage, define user behavior goals and create personalized messages at scale. The Aampe engine then kicks-in to find the best match between users and messages. Customers can see ongoing results and insights to improve their customer interactions rapidly over time.

For now we’re focused on push notifications and our goal is to make our customers’ users want to enable notifications, knowing that they’ll only receive content and messages they care about.

Try out the Aampe Composer to see what we've already built: Sign-up using your Google account (or shoot an email to asking for an  invite code). This is the tool you’ll be working on if you decide to join ;)

Mission for a product designer

Discover and design the next version of Aampe’s end-to-end experience. You will shape this experience to be rich yet intuitive and beautifully designed for our users.

What should you expect to do?

  • Conduct product discovery and user research
  • Prototype rapidly and perform user testing
  • Design the product UI/UX and produce high-fidelity wireframes that engineers can ship, accounting for trade-offs in engineering complexity
  • Develop a consistent tone and voice across all experiences, including assets for emails, marketing, and online ads

  • Strong UI & UX design experience on a web (ideally SaaS) product
  • Mastery of a collaborative design tool (e.g. Figma)
  • Extensive experience in interaction design
  • Experience in user research
  • Bonus if you led a design QA process
  • Bonus if you have experience developing and nurturing a style guide

This role fits product designers who:

  • Are deeply concerned with UX
  • Want to delight customers with the experiences they create
  • Work closely with frontend developers
  • Come with strong opinions that they can easily re-evaluate when faced with new evidence
  • Enjoy a fully-remote setting

We expect it takes at least five years of experience to develop the level of confident ownership needed for this role, but if you can make the case for less, we’d be happy to listen.
